PUSHA T ANNOUNCED AS NEW BRAND AMBASSADOR FOR LOUIS VUITTON

Pharrell Williams, Creative Louis Vuitton recently announced Pusha T as a new brand ambassador for the brand highlighting Williams’ talent for blending fashion and pop culture.

The “Nosetalgia” rapper, Pusha T, has a long-standing association with Williams that began with his debut alongside Clipse in the late 1990s under The Neptunes’ production. Both artists, hailing from Virginia Beach, Va., have sustained a close collaborative relationship over the years. Williams produced several tracks on Pusha T’s most recent album, “It’s Almost Dry,” emphasizing their enduring creative synergy.

In fact, hip hop trivia for the real ones– the beef between Drake and Pusha T actually stemmed from an unpaid debt Birdman owed to Pharrell Williams. The duo has always been tightly knit and Pusha’s recent run of brand collaborations where he drops a memorable verse tailored for virality has refined the rapper’s marketability despite his rather ‘mature’ subject matter.

Given his deep-rooted connection with Pusha T (born Terrence LeVarr Thornton) and his older brother and Clipse bandmate, No Malice (Gene Thornton), Williams featured the duo in his debut show last June on the Pont Neuf bridge in Paris. Pusha T then appeared on the runway during Vuitton’s western-themed fall 2024 show in January, and both he and No Malice were front-row guests at the spring 2025 show held at UNESCO headquarters last month.

“Their shared history promises dynamic future avenues of expression and further affirms Maison’s ambassadorial circle to be those forging today’s contemporary landscape across industries and fields,” Vuitton stated.

The brand praised Pusha T for “his razor-sharp lyrical storytelling” and his significant influence on the music scene. Known for his aggressive delivery and lyrics centered around drug dealing, Pusha T has collaborated with a diverse array of artists, including Ye, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Tyga, and Future.

“His ambassadorial nomination at Louis Vuitton is a testament to his commitment to artistry and strong personal style, both echoing the Maison’s own dedication to unique expression across fashion and culture,” Vuitton commented.

“Pusha T’s role as house ambassador underscores Louis Vuitton’s vision of integrating diverse cultural influences to create powerful storytelling within its storied menswear universe. The Maison looks forward to this exciting collaborative journey ahead,” the statement added.

Pusha T has previously collaborated with brands like Adidas, BAPE, and Marcelo Burlon. Last year, he attended the Met Gala as a guest of Thom Browne. At Vuitton, he joins a roster that includes K-pop sensations such as J-Hope from BTS, Felix of Stray Kids, and Got7’s BamBam and Jackson Wang, as well as athletes Victor Wembanyama and Carlos Alcaraz, among others.
