Balmain Cotton Poplin Rose Asymmetric Shirt

In the show notes for Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection, Olivier Rousteing summarised his direction with a quote from a close friend of Pierre Balmain, Gertrude Stein: “A rose is a rose is a rose is a rose”. Throughout the runway looks, Balmain’s favoured floral was depicted again and again, from gothic thorny prints to sculptural rubber detailing, exploring its many connotations. This cotton poplin shirt features an oversized sculptural rose detail, showcasing Rousteing’s intricate eye for craftsmanship.
