When Pierre Balmain travelled to Asia, he was inspired by its rich iconography and delved into the American post-war culture which treasured souvenirs from Vietnam, South Korea and Japan. Today, Olivier Rousteing uses this eclectic mix of culture to inform the Maison’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection, reimagining this classic sweater silhouette with a checked rendition of the covetable monogram surrounded by stars.
